A.    Pengertian IP Address

IP Address(Internet Protocol Address) adalah suatu identiras numerik yang dilabelkan pada suatu komputer, router, atau printeryang terdapat dalam suatu jaringan komputer yang menggunakan internet protocol sebagai sarana komunikasi. IP address mempunyai beberapa fungsi, diantaranya:

1.    Sebagai alat identifikasi host atau antarmuka pada suatu jaringan.

2.    Sebagai alamat lokasi jaringan.

B.     Kelas IP Address

Kelas IP Address terbagi menjadi 5, yaitu kelas A, kelas B, kelas C, kelas D, dan kelas E. Yang paling banyak digunakan adalah kelas A-C, kelas D dan E hanya digunakan untuk eksperimen saja. Berikut adalah pembagian ip addressnya.

a.       Kelas A

IP Address kelas A octet pertama mempunyai panjang 8 bit, dan 3 oktet lainya mempunyai panjang 24 oktet. Otet pertama digunakan sebagai Host Id, sedangkan octet 2-4 adalah Net ID. Otet pertama mempunyai range 0-127 namun yang 0 dan 127 digunakan sebagai  cadangan, octet 2-4 mempunyai range 0-255. Contoh:

11.134.23.34, octet 1(11) adalah host id, octet 2-4(134-23-34) adalah net id.

b.      Kelas B

IP address kelas B octet 1 & 2  mempunyai panjang 16 bit, dan octet 3 & 4 mempunyai panjang 16 bit. Octet pertama dan kedua digunakan sebagai Host Id, sedangkan octet 3,4 digunakan sebagai net id, range octet 1 adalah 128-191. Contoh:

192.223.33.4, octet 1 dan 2 Host id, 3 dan 4 net id.

c.       Kelas Cssd

C.     Cara Konfigurasi IP Address Pada Linux Ubuntu

Adapun langkah-langkah yabg harus dilakukan saat kita akan mengkonfigurasu I Address pada Linux Ubuntu ialah:

1.      Buka Terminal, dan masuklah sebagai root dengan mengetikan perintah “Sudo su” lakukan. Lalu anda akan diminta untuk memasukan password komputer anda

2.      Lakukan konfigurasi IP dari Interfaces eth0, ketikan perintah /etc/network/interfaces.

3.      Lalu buatlah konfigurasi sepereti berikut:

auto lo

iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0

iface eth0 inet static

address      192.168.90.24

netmask     255.255.255.0

broadcast   192.168.90.255

network     192.168.90.0

jika sudah lakukan penyimpanan dengan mengetikan tombol kombinasi lalu tekan ctrl+x, lalu tekan enter.

4.      Setelah selesai membuat konfigurasi, langkah selanjutnya adalh merestart network interface network dengan cara mengetikan perintah etc/init.d/network restart.

5.      Setelh merestarrt, ketikan perintah ifcinfig untuk mengetahui apakan ip yang anda setting sudah berhasil atau belum,

6.      Lakukan uji konektivitas, dengan cara menetikan perintah ping spasi nomor ip yang akan dituju, apabila sukses akan muncul TTl=68.

A.    Discriptive Text

Borobudur Temple

Borobudur is Hindu – Budhist temple. It was build in the nineth century under Sailendra dynasty of ancient Mataram kingdom. Borobudur is located in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.

Borobudur is well-known all over the world. Its construction is influenced by the Gupta architecture of India. The temple is constructed on a hill 46 m high and consist of eight step like stone terrace. The first five terrace are square and surrounded by walls adorned with Budist sculpture in bas-relief. The upper three are circular. 

Each of them is with a circle of bell shape-stupa. The entire adifice is crowned by a large stupa at the centre at the centre of the top circle. The way to the summit extends through some 4.8 km of passage and starways. The design of borobudur which symbolizes the structure of universe influences temples at Angkor, Cambodia.

Borobudur temple which is rededicated as an Indonesian monument in 1983 is a valuable treasure for Indonesian people.

B.     Recount Text

My Horor Experience

I stayed a night at Sakhuwa of Gati VDC because a landslide near Baseri had blocked the road, The next morning, I hopped onto the bus with registration number Ba 2 Kha 4013 that was on the way to Barhabise from Tatopani.

I took a seat by the doorside and remember that there were around 35 passengers, including me. The driver started the bus. A kilometer into the journey, I noticed a ditch on the road.

The driver tried to avert the ditch. Before I could know what was going on, the bus started hurtling towards the Bhotekoshi.

I had given up hope of surviving, but found a ventilator glass broken. I came out of the shattered glass and plunged into the Bhotekoshi.

The river carried me for about 35 kilometers and left me on the shallow surface. I passed out after that. The rescuers took me to a hospital when I regained consciousness.

I heard later that all except four passengers had survived. I have sustained injuries on the face, hands and other body parts. Nonetheless, I feel that surviving was my destiny.

C.    Narative Text

Queen of Arabia and Three Sheiks

Maura, who like to be thought of as the most beautiful and powerful queen of Arabia, had many suitors. One by one she discarded them, until her list was reduced to just three sheiks. The three sheiks were all equally young and handsome. They were also rich and strong. It was very hard to decide who would be the best of them.
One evening, Maura disguised herself and went to the camp of the three sheiks. As they were about to have dinner, Maura asked them for something to eat. The first gave her some left over food. The second Sheik gave her some unappetizing camel’s tail. The third sheik, who was called Hakim, offered her some of the most tender and tasty meat. After dinner, the disguised queen left the sheik’s camp.

The following day, the queen invited the three sheiks to dinner at her palace. She ordered her servant to give each one exactly what they had given her the evening before. Hakim, who received a plate of delicious meat, refused to eat it if the other two sheiks could not share it with him. This Sheik Hakim’s act finally convinced Queen Maura that he was the man for her. “Without question, Hakim is the most generous of you” she announced her choice to the sheiks. “So it is Hakim I will marry”.
